The Hive For Her
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Hive For Her studio, website, classes, programs and services. By becoming a member, booking a class, purchasing The Hive Experience, enrolling in Thrive, or otherwise engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Membership Terms
Memberships are subject to a minimum term of 3, 6 or 12 months depending on the membership selected. Membership fees are billed fortnightly via automatic payment, alongside a one-off joining fee where applicable.
Cancellation During Minimum Term
If you wish to cancel your membership before the end of your minimum term, you may either pay out the remaining balance owing, or transfer the remaining term to a non-member for a $49 transfer fee.
Cancellation After Minimum Term
Once your minimum term is complete, your membership continues on a month-to-month rolling basis. A 30-day written cancellation notice is required, equivalent to 2 fortnightly payments.
Pausing Your Membership
Memberships may be paused for injury, pregnancy or extended holidays. Please contact us to arrange a pause to your membership.
3. The Hive Experience
The Hive Experience is available to new members only and must be used within 30 days of purchase. It is non-transferable and carries no further obligation to join a membership.
4. Thrive Program
Thrive enrolment carries a minimum 6-week commitment, billed weekly. Following completion of the program, participants may continue with Thrive Ongoing at the applicable rate, with no further lock-in period.
5. Class Bookings & Attendance
- All classes must be booked in advance via the Momence app or website
- Reformer Pilates classes require punctual arrival — reformers may be forfeited to waiting members if you are more than 5 minutes late without notice
- Self-led sessions are available only to members who have completed a minimum of 10 instructor-led classes
- We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone displaying unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour
6. Kids Club
Kids Club bookings must be made separately to class bookings via the Appointments section of the app. Parents/guardians remain responsible for their children at all times and are welcome to attend to their child as needed during a session.
Children must be collected by the same parent or guardian who dropped them off.
Children are only permitted in the HiveX or Reformer studio if they are young enough to be carried in a baby carrier, or old enough to sit quietly with a device or book without supervision concerns. Children must never touch, climb on or play with reformers or any studio equipment, for their own safety and the safety of others.
7. Liability Waiver & Assumption Of Risk
Participation in physical exercise, including but not limited to Reformer Pilates, HiveX Strength training, self-led sessions, recovery centre use (including infrared sauna, ice bath and red light therapy), and any other activity at The Hive For Her, carries inherent risk of injury. By participating in any class, session or activity at The Hive For Her, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
You confirm that you are physically fit to participate and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries or pregnancy to our team prior to participating. The Hive For Her, its directors, instructors and staff accept no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in our classes or use of our facilities, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are pregnant, or are uncertain about your fitness to participate, please consult your doctor before commencing any program at The Hive For Her, and inform our team prior to your first session.
8. Studio Hire & Private Events
Studio hire bookings are subject to a separate hire agreement, including payment terms, cancellation policy and conduct expectations, provided at the time of booking.
9. Photography & Video
By attending The Hive For Her, you consent to being photographed or filmed during classes and events, and to such content being used for marketing purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let our team know and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Children are never photographed or filmed without the express consent of their parent or guardian.
